The BAPCR holds an archive of material relating to its history, dating back to the late 1930s. Among other material this includes minutes of meetings, including those dating from the founding of the ABPR, correspondence, and details of talks and events organised by the BACPR over the decades. The information it holds is useful not just for understanding the history of the BAPCR, but also for the history of paintings conservation in the UK.
